Job Overview The Product Commercialization Lead is accountable for driving the commercial success of both existing and new products. This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to establish market positioning, value propositions, and go-to-market (GTM) strategies. As the orchestrator of product launch readiness, this role ensures that all commercial aspects—from pricing to customer segmentation—are optimized to enhance product adoption, revenue growth, and market visibility. Responsibilities Collaborate with Product Management, Pricing/Sales Operations, Sales, and Marketing Centers of Excellence (COEs) to create compelling product positioning, value propositions, and tailored training materials and marketing collateral. Lead assessments and provide go/no-go recommendations for product launches, evaluating market readiness, commercial viability, and strategic alignment. Develop and maintain a consolidated marketing plan for assigned products, ensuring consistency with overall business goals, and work with the Global Commercialization team to implement region-specific strategies. Work closely with Product Management on new product development to meet launch readiness standards. Ensure commercial readiness by aligning product-market fit with pricing strategies that support the product narrative and business objectives. Manage customer segmentation for the product portfolio and devise GTM strategies by segment, including channels, while adhering to global standards and aligning with Global Commercialization, Sales, and Product teams. Oversee the market model, including strategic forecasting (12-36 months), providing insights for resource allocation, market entry, and growth opportunities. Streamline promotional workflows to eliminate pre-customer bottlenecks and enhance sales efficiency by collaborating with cross-functional teams to remove barriers and expedite time-to-market. Required Skills / Qualifications / Certifications / Tech Stack Essential Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Product Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of experience in product commercialization, product marketing, or related roles, preferably in B2B or enterprise environments. Proven track record of leading cross-functional commercialization projects and product launches. Strong analytical skills, with experience in market modeling, forecasting, and performance measurement. Proficiency with CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo), along with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, capable of creating engaging collateral and delivering executive-level updates. Results-oriented, collaborative, and adept at working in fast-paced, dynamic environments. Preferable MBA or advanced degree. Experience in convenience retail or managing enterprise product portfolios. Familiarity with global product launches and regulatory/compliance considerations.
