As the Lead Marketing Data Scientist focusing on Model Performance & Orchestration, you will play a pivotal role in strategically analyzing and interpreting data, uncovering insights that will help shape our marketing strategies, increase member engagement, and support outstanding clinical and operational practices.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
Driving advanced analytical initiatives to assess marketing performance, member behavior, and projected health outcomes.
Utilizing dashboards and reporting tools to deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure our analytics align with strategic objectives.
Translating business inquiries into data-driven methodologies and presenting findings effectively to leadership.
Ensuring data integrity through thorough validation, documentation, and quality control processes.
Identifying and recommending strategies for optimization and innovation in our marketing and engagement efforts.
Developing custom machine learning models, including segmentation, multi-touch attribution, and churn models.
Employing predictive modeling techniques, such as Regression, Random Forest, XG Boost, clustering, and text mining to enhance Humana member experiences with the aim of driving revenue and business outcomes.
Conducting power analysis and hypothesis testing, designing marketing A/B tests, and supporting implementation while presenting results to business partners.
Ensuring robust test design and analysis by focusing on suitable sample sizing and statistical significance to yield insightful outcomes.
Your contributions will empower Humana to deliver personalized and effective care experiences through a seamless integration of data with strategic execution. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative field.
3-5 years of experience in data analytics or data science.
Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data analysis and modeling (3-5 years).
Strong foundation in mathematics, statistics, and modeling to convert complex data into advanced analytics solutions (3-5 years).
Experience in developing and maintaining structured and unstructured datasets for analysis (3-5 years).
Able to create reports, projections, models, and presentations to back business strategies (3-5 years).
Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI (1-3 years).
Experience in setting up causal inference experiments (1-3 years).
Exceptional communication skills to effectively present complicated findings.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with integrated health data (clinical + marketing).
Master's degree in a quantitative or healthcare-related field.
Familiarity with HIPAA and healthcare compliance standards.
Experience with Snowflake or Databricks.
Previous marketing experience is a plus.
Experience with Adobe Analytics.
Travel: While this position is primarily remote, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required. Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Compensation: The compensation range for this role is $117,600 - $161,700 annually, based on geographic location and individual qualifications, including skills, experience, and education. This position also offers eligibility for a bonus incentive plan based on individual and company performance.
