
Sales Consultant - Fire Protection

This role is based out of our Elmhurst, IL, location
Chicago Metropolitan Fire Prevention seeks a driven and professional sales consultant to assist our customers with their accounts. The Sales Consultant is responsible for sales of our Fire Alarm, Security, CCTV and CA systems. The Sales Consultant will interface with customers as well as communicate via phone and email and should have strong organization and follow up skills.
Job Responsibilities
Generate sales volume higher than quota at acceptable gross margins
Establish and maintain contact with existing and new customers by proactively providing exceptional customer service
Create and provide estimate and quote for installation and service
Negotiate details of contracts and payments
Prepare sales contracts and order forms
Possess ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with customers & office personnel via phone, email, and face-to-face
Provide up-to-date customer information to AR Department for updates in company database to properly service customers in a timely manner
Ability to read/decipher engineered drawings or design build systems
Deliver presentation of company products to new and existing customers
Perform other duties as assigned

Compensation Base Salary of $50,000 - $60,000 plus commission based on skills/experience. Full benefits are offered with immediate medical/dental/vision insurance coverage available on day one of hire. The Company offers a 401k with matching, as well as an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) after one year of employment.
