Director of Infection Prevention (CIC)

Director of Infection Prevention (CIC) Lead infection prevention and control efforts while promoting patient safety in a healthcare setting. This role directs facility?wide IP programs, ensures regulatory compliance, and manages clinical infection prevention initiatives.

What Youll Do

• Direct infection prevention programs and assess ongoing readiness.
• Oversee surveillance, data collection, analysis, and reporting in line with CDC/NHSN standards and CMS, state, and local regulations.
• Promote patient safety and adherence to IP protocols.
• Lead and mentor the IP team to ensure excellence in infection prevention practices.

Requirements

• Masters degree in Nursing, Education, Epidemiology, Public Health, Clinical Microbiology, or a related health field.
• 35 years of clinical experience in a health?related field.
• 2 years of leadership experience in Infection Prevention or Epidemiology.
• Current Certification in Infection Control (CIC).
