Salesforce Technical Lead Developer

The Salesforce Lead/Senior Developer is a key member of our Delivery organization. In addition to being responsible for developing high performing solutions on the Force.com platform, the Senior Developer will provide insight in advanced business analysis, conduct needs assessments, configure apps, as required, and assist in key functions involving client and staff development, training and on-going client support.

The Lead/Senior Developer is responsible for programming and software development using various programming languages and related tools and frameworks, reviewing code written by other programmers, requirement gathering, bug fixing, testing, documenting and implementing software systems. Experienced programmers are also responsible for interpreting architecture and design, code reviews, mentoring, guiding and monitoring programmers, ensuring adherence to programming and documentation policies, software development, testing and release.

Typical Day Snapshot - Salesforce Lead/Senior Developer

New challenges and opportunities arise every day for our Senior Developers and their roles will vary based on the projects where they are engaged. The work is truly exciting and interesting and will require our Technical Consultants to:

Work with senior members of the team to analyze business requirements, translating those requirements in to customized solutions using the Force.com platform
Implement Force.com solutions that adhere to platform best practices and perform peer code reviews
Typical Force.com implementations include custom platform development (Apex, Visualforce), integrations with back office systems (often through the use of middleware tools) and complex data migrations. Experience in one or more of these aspects of a Force.com project is a must
Lead development work streams, from design through testing and deployment, often working with junior members of the team both offshore and onshore

Basic Qualifications:

5 years’ experience with Salesforce Implementations
3+ years’ experience with Salesforce coding and programming languages like APEX, VisualForce
Extensive experience with force.com technical platform including apex, triggers, batch Apex, Visualforce etc. Knowledge of advanced visualforce components, Chatter API etc.
Experience building integration and interfaces using SFDC Web Services API
Salesforce Developer or related certification(ns)

Work You'll Do As a US Delivery Center Senior Solution Specialist on the team, you will:

Develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Lightning Web Components.

Qualifications Required:

Hybrid Work Model: Operate under a hybrid system requiring residence within a commutable distance to one of the US Delivery Center locations (Gilbert, Lake Mary, or Mechanicsburg) or Geo-Hub locations (Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Houston, and Philadelphia).
Co-location Expectation: Spend up to 30% of working time co-located at an assigned office for orchestrated opportunities, including projects, practice sessions, training, and Moments That Matter at a Deloitte Delivery Center location, Geo-Hub location, approved site, or project location.
Travel Requirement: Maximum of 10% overnight travel for client or project purposes.
Relocation Requirement: If relocation is necessary, complete the move within 12 weeks from the start date to reside within a commutable distance.

Preferred:

Salesforce Developer certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I/II, App Builder, etc.).
Experience working in government or highly regulated environments.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
