
Data Entry Clerk
We are seeking a motivated Data Entry Clerk to assist with tracking procurements for a large infrastructure project in Los Angeles. Must have strong Excel skills. Responsibilities include:
- Prepare source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting procurement items.
- Process vendor documents by reviewing data for deficiencies and resolve discrepancies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution.
- Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
- Filing and other light administrative duties as needed.
- Some knowledge of contract or labor compliance is helpful but not required.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Clerk Typist background a plus.
Requirements:
- Strong Excel skills
- Solid math skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy; ability to self-audit.
- High School Diploma required; College Diploma preferred
- 2+ years experience in Data-Entry required
- 1+ years experience in construction industry preferred
- Payroll or accounting data experience a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills & organizational skills
- Active Team Player with positive attitude
- High level of computer proficiency
- Highly motivated
