Manager of Client Strategy Commercial Property & Casualty

Location: Atlanta, GA | Full-Time | Exempt

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Manager of Client Strategy (Commercial P&C) to lead client service operations, drive account retention, and support business growth within a high-performing commercial insurance environment.

The Manager of Client Strategy builds upon senior-level Client Service Executive responsibilities while providing leadership, operational oversight, and strategic direction for a team of client service professionals. This role is ideal for a seasoned commercial lines insurance leader who thrives in client-facing strategy, renewal execution, risk analysis, and team development.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Business Growth
  • Develop and implement strategic client retention and account growth plans
  • Lead renewal strategy discussions and client-facing presentations
  • Provide market trend insights and risk advisory guidance to clients
  • Represent the organization at industry events and networking functions
  • Maintain strong relationships with carriers, brokers, and industry partners
Operational Oversight & Service Execution
  • Lead internal account team meetings to ensure renewal timelines and service standards are met
  • Support Producers in annual review meetings, proposals, prospect meetings, and policy delivery
  • Initiate and lead client touchpoints and renewal strategy discussions
  • Review contracts and provide coverage guidance as needed
  • Oversee policy changes, endorsements, audit verifications, and carrier communications
  • Ensure compliance with service calendars and regulatory documentation
Client Strategy & Technical Expertise
  • Prepare and maintain detailed insurance summaries, schedules, and proposals
  • Market renewals and negotiate competitive terms and conditions
  • Conduct benchmarking, budgeting, and analytical reviews for commercial accounts
  • Perform rating plan analysis, quote comparisons, deductible analysis, and cash flow projections
  • Conduct advanced Workers Compensation Experience Mod forecasting and analysis
  • Deliver stewardship reports and strategic recommendations to clients
Financial & Administrative Management
  • Conduct financial performance reviews of assigned books of business
  • Monitor profitability, staffing efficiency, and client retention metrics
  • Oversee billing practices and aged receivables in alignment with agency credit policy
  • Process cancellation requests while protecting financial equity
Team Management & Development
  • Lead and mentor a team of Client Service Executives, Associates, and Assistants
  • Manage workload distribution to ensure operational efficiency
  • Conduct performance evaluations and support professional development
  • Provide internal training on coverage, endorsements, and best practices
  • Participate in continuing education and industry designation programs
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in Commercial Property & Casualty insurance
  • Active Property & Casualty License
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience within a commercial insurance service team
  • Strong background in commercial lines renewals and account management
  • Expertise in Workers Compensation Experience Mod analysis and strategic brokering
  • Proven negotiation and carrier relationship management skills
  • Strong analytical, financial, and organizational abilities
  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills
