If you'reSMART, HUNGRY, and HONEST, you'll feel right at home here.Key Responsibilities: Pipeline Management Manage an active pipeline of approximately 40+ loans in various stages of processing Prioritize files based on lock expirations, submission timelines, and closing dates Maintain consistent pipeline movement to meet investor and closing deadlines Identify potential issues early and escalate appropriately Loan File Preparation (Non-Delegated / Wholesale) Prepare complete and accurate loan files for submission to wholesale investors Ensure loan packages meet investor documentation and stacking requirements Validate income, assets, credit, and collateral documentation prior to submission Submit clean, complete files to minimize underwriting touches Communication & Coordination Serve as primary processing contact for Loan Officers and borrowers Coordinate with third parties including title, appraisal, insurance, and verification vendors Communicate with investor Account Executives and utilize investor portals as needed Provide proactive and consistent status updates Underwriting & Conditions Submit complete loan packages to investors for underwriting Review and clear investor conditions efficiently and accurately Work closely with Loan Officers and borrowers to obtain required documentation Prepare files for final approval and clear-to-close Compliance & Quality Ensure files meet agency, investor, and regulatory requirements Maintain accurate loan data in the LOS Adhere to disclosure timing and documentation standards Meet company quality control and file integrity expectations Performance Expectations Maintain a pipeline of approximately 40+ loans with multiple Loan Officers Submit high-quality files with minimal underwriting touches Clear conditions promptly and maintain strong file velocity Consistently meet lock and closing deadlines Maintain strong SLA performance across submission, conditions, and closing milestones Deliver a high-touch borrower experience and strong internal communication Meet production, quality, and compliance targets established by the company Qualifications: 2+ years mortgage processing experience preferred, ideally in non-delegated or wholesale lending Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent mortgage processing experience Experience submitting loans through wholesale investor portals Familiarity with Conventional, FHA, and VA documentation requirements Ability to manage a high-volume pipeline in a production environment Strong attention to detail and file organization Comfortable reviewing income and financial documentation Clear communicator with urgency, ownership, and accountability What Success Looks Like: Clean, complete files submitted to investors on first pass Conditions cleared quickly with minimal back-and-forth Consistent pipeline movement toward approval and closing Deadlines and lock timelines met reliably Strong borrower, Loan Officer, and investor communication Ability to manage volume without sacrificing file quality Schedule & Work Requirements: Full-time position based in Charlotte, NC office Following the first 90 days, team members may earn eligibility for up to 3 remote workdays per month, based on performance and operational needs. Compensation: Compensation includes base salary plus performance-based production bonus tied to loan volume, file quality, and SLA performance.
