Summary This position will be responsible for leading and executing Kraus-Anderson’s business development and project planning go to market strategies for the Healthcare market sector across all of KACC (metro, non-metro offices, and other future markets). This role will collaborate with all office, BD, DOOs and Construction Executives to develop and deliver the successful execution of healthcare go to market strategies and project delivery. This position will help support profitable financial growth of the Healthcare market sector.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Develop and implement comprehensive go-to-market strategies in direct collaboration with all DOOs and the Healthcare Construction Executive for the healthcare market sector that align with the company's overall business objectives.
- Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to ensure our services remain competitive and innovative.
- Support the development of business development, project planning and development leaders, project managers, etc. through mentoring and empowering teams to excel in their roles.
- Provide guidance, training, and resources necessary for their professional growth while fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to establish uniform processes, methodologies, and best practices for delivering construction services to clients in the Healthcare sector. Ensure consistent quality and customer satisfaction across all projects.
- Assist in developing and managing annual marketing budget for healthcare and develop annual sales goals in partnership with DOOs and CE.
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve profitable growth targets, including effective cost management, resource allocation, and revenue enhancement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their unique needs and ensuring KACC’s services exceed their expectations.
- Actively seek opportunities for new business development and expansion within the Healthcare sector. Maintain strong relationships with relevant trade and industry associations.
- Collaborate closely with executive leadership, business development teams, DOOs and other regional market sector directors to share insights, align strategies, and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
- Regularly analyze key performance indicators, financial metrics, and project outcomes to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture and/or Business Development, Marketing, Public Relations or related coursework.
- Proven track record of at least 10 years in senior leadership roles within the construction industry, with a focus on project planning and development.
- Strong understanding of the Healthcare market sector, its dynamics, and specific project requirements.
- Strong knowledge of construction team roles and construction project management.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve their best.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective business strategies.
- Financial acumen and a demonstrated ability to drive profitable growth.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Ability to become proficient in construction-specific software applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.

Salary Range: $150,000 to $200,000 annually, plus company vehicle and discretionary incentive program.
Pay is based on many factors including but not limited to education, skill, experience, training, certifications, and other business needs.
