The opportunity

Unity's Grow business empowers developers and publishers to build profitable and scalable applications through AI/ML-powered user acquisition, monetization, and engagement tools. With products including Unity Ads, LevelPlay mediation, and Tapjoy Offerwall, the Grow platform reaches billions of users across the mobile app ecosystem and plays a critical role in Unity's real-time 3D (RT3D) creator economy.

We're seeking a strategic and execution-focused Product Marketing Manager to lead Go-To-Market for our Grow product suite. You'll anchor around customer personas and define the positioning, GTM strategy, and product marketing execution. This is a deeply cross-functional role that bridges product value and customer outcomes across gaming and mobile audiences. You'll partner closely with Product, Sales, and Marketing to align product innovation with go-to-market impact.

What you'll be doing

Customer and Persona Segmentation - Define clear, actionable customer personas (e.g., major mobile publishers with multiple titles, indie devs, monetization managers, UA specialists) with distinct needs and use cases. Bring these insights into product design, alpha/beta programs, and strategic briefings.

Positioning/Messaging - Craft messaging that translates technical features - especially AI/ML-powered products - into clear customer value for mobile developers and marketers. Lead the creation and quarterly refresh of messaging frameworks informed by customer feedback and competitive insights.

\n
Go-to-Market Leadership - Own GTM plans for major launches, platform integrations, and feature rollouts. Ensure alignment with sales, marketing, and product goals. Run retros on user adoption and sales impact.

\n
Sales Enablement and Growth Marketing - Partner with revenue teams to deliver playbooks, battle cards, pitch decks, and customer-facing collateral. Ensure frontline teams are equipped with competitive narratives.

Voice of the Customer - Serve as a conduit for customer and community insights. Inform product roadmap decisions with real-world feedback, market trends, and competitive analysis.

Thought Leadership & Awareness - Drive external-facing narrative on how Unity helps mobile devs succeed. Represent Grow in industry events, briefings, and partnership meetings.

What we're looking for

\n
6-8 years of experience in product marketing, growth marketing, or go-to-market strategy, preferably in AdTech, mobile apps, gaming, or SaaS.
\n
\n
Experience with AI/ML applications in advertising, user acquisition, or monetization, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear marketing narratives.
\n
\n
Deep understanding of mobile advertising, in-app monetization, and programmatic ecosystems (e.g., mediation, bidding, eCPM optimization).
\n
\n
Strong storytelling, positioning, and writing skills-able to simplify complex technology for multiple audiences.
\n
\n
Proven success in leading cross-functional GTM initiatives, ideally in a matrixed or global org with a product portfolio created from concept to scale.

Strong business acumen, data literacy, and ability to align product marketing with revenue objectives.

This position is responsible for developing and executing advertising programs and monetization strategies for T-Ads and its clients. The Advertising Operations Manager is a skilled practitioner in monetization techniques and their application via execution and enablement platforms within the T-Ads advertising stack. As part of the Media Monetization Strategy & Success organization, they work collaboratively across the organization to achieve the best outcomes through execution excellence.

Job Responsibilities:

Build and execute monetization strategies for owned and operated media utilizing first and third-party platforms to maximize yield and/or achieve client outcomes with digital media.
Develops, conducts, and monitors configuration tests including ad formats and SSP integration and placements experiments to reveal optimal supply configuration to meet revenue goals.
Identify product gaps, technical challenges, and poor performance through data analysis and troubleshooting, provides actionable insights to internal and external stakeholders.
Assist in communication with external partners and cross-functional teams, documenting optimization plans and action items to support Demand and Development Partners to drive revenue efficiencies.
Gain and maintain overall industry knowledge, product expertise, and best practices. Share knowledge formally and informally with team members and the larger T-Ads organization.
Responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned.

Education and Work Experience:

Bachelor's Degree (Required)
Acceptable areas of study include Communications, Advertising, Maketing, STEM (Required)
3-4 years of experience in Ad Operations with a thorough understanding of header bidding, SSPs, APS. Experience in either a publisher or an advertising agency (Required)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Strategic Thinking - Capable of analyzing results and providing strategic plans to drive business growth (Required)
Advertising - Knowledge of the advertising industry as well as opinions and projections for its future (Required)
Communication -Must be an effective communicator to facilitate TMS goals in an external environment (Preferred)
