Compliance and Audit Manager

Manages a team of compliance and audit officers and specialists to conduct internal audits in order to ensure compliance with outside regulatory requirements and internal policies. Under limited supervision, uses specialized knowledge and skills obtained through experience, specialized training or certification to detect possible rules violations to ensure adherence to securities industry regulations and limit firm liability. Lead and support associates during functional reviews and provide advanced support to our Financial Advisor and some home office departments, focusing specifically on the policies and procedures required by applicable regulators for advertising materials in the social media space. Effectively and professionally coordinate with senior members of Supervision, other managers, our Marketing Department, and advisors in order to guide and influence decisions that mitigate risk and align with the firm's culture and strategy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Performs human resources management activities, including identifying/correcting performance problems and participating in interviewing and selecting staff.
Plans, assigns, monitors, reviews, evaluates, and leads the work of others.
Coaches and mentors subordinates, identifies training needs, and recommends appropriate development.
Interfaces with Compliance, Supervision, Legal, and associates to inform them of any supervisory concerns that may arise with branch office managers/FAs and works together with them to address these concerns.
Conducts advertising reviews of Financial Advisor and certain home office associates' material through the use of various reports and systems.
Serve as a trusted business partner to our Financial Advisor teams and by providing expertise with regards to advertising/retail communications in the social media space.
Assists in developing training programs.
Prepares and delivers written and oral presentations to business units.
May participate in the formation of Supervision policies.
Acts as a mentor to new associates by sharing resources and encouraging their growth.
Takes on complex and extensive projects in coordination with Senior Management.
Develops new procedures and best practices for workflows.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of:

Relevant rules and regulations under FINRA 2210 and SEC Advertising Rules
Relevant rules and regulations under the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the Investment Advisers Act of 1940
ERISA and DOL rules and regulations
Company's working structure, policies, mission, and strategies.
General office practices, procedures, and methods.

Skill in:

Operating standard office equipment and using required software applications to produce correspondence, reports, electronic communication, spreadsheets, presentations, and databases.
Critical thinking and decision-making, involving the interpretation of regulatory rules and compliance policies.
Detail orientation to ensure the regulatory liability is limited, without impairing workflow.
Conducting social media related supervision reviews

Ability to:

Independently manage and complete multiple projects and tasks; work independently with minimal direct supervision.
Use appropriate interpersonal styles and communicate effectively and professionally, both orally and in writing, with all organizational levels including branch managers/FAs.
Ability to review and interpret SEC No-Action Letters and FINRA Notices to members.

Educational/Previous Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's degree (B.A) in a related discipline and a minimum of six (6) years of experience in Supervision and/or the financial services industry. ~or~ Any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources.

Licenses/Certifications:

Series 7, 24, 66 license(s) for assigned functional area required.

Security Engineer, Identity and Access Management

Raymond James Information Security is seeking a Security Engineer, Identity and Access Management, to deliver and manage large, complex Identity and Access Management programs in the area of Identity Governance & Administration (IGA). The individual will ensure adherence to policy and provide leadership to the implementation of leading-edge technology to position the organization for success improving efficiency, increasing security posture, and supporting growth of the firm's Identity and Access Management (IAM) Program.

This position follows our hybrid workstyle policy: Expected to be in a Raymond James office location a minimum of 10-12 days a month.

Responsibilities:

Work as Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) engineer for SailPoint & Saviynt suite of products for the IAM team to build, execute & deploy Access management solutions.
Work with Business application teams, Development team and Operations to design & demonstrate the architectural designs.
Co-ordinate with Project managers, Support & Operations leads and roll out solutions from design to production.
Review IAM/IGA Security polices standards, guidelines, and procedures.
Recommend innovative technical solutions to improve security and efficiency.
Overall accountability for technical document delivery, technical support, and hands-on technical work
Oversee adherence to applicable Security Controls, Policies and Standards; partner with business owners and technology groups to synchronize plans to remediate gaps
Act as a subject matter expert for technology, policy, and regulatory aspects within the team.
Participate in Enterprise Disaster Recovery Exercises and On-Call rotations with the IAM-IGA Team.

Qualifications:

5+ years' experience in Information Security field, Information Technology field
Entra ID & Directory Services experience required
Direct experience working within SailPoint Suite of products required
Saviynt experience required
Experience on major projects or activities like upgrades, migration, enhancements, customizations, security remediations, etc., on Identity Governance & Administration products
Experience with developing Rest API's
5+ years' experience scripting in Java, J2EE, Python, Perl Scripts or any other programing language
Experience with multiple LDAP user repositories.
Enterprise level experience required
Financial Services experience strongly preferred
Workday Integration experience strongly preferred
Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences, both oral and written skills are required.
Experience in gathering requirements, documenting, and assessing information for implementing information security policies and standards is required.
Strong initiative; self-starter; self-directed; ability to multi-task

Associate Director of Software Engineering

We are looking for an experienced and visionary Associate Director of Software Engineering to lead the development and ongoing support of our next-generation Recruiting Portal. This role will be responsible for building a high-performing engineering team from the ground up, advancing the technical strategy, and delivering a scalable, user-friendly platform that optimizes the recruiting process.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and lead a software engineering team focused on designing, developing, and maintaining a modern recruiting portal.
Contribute to, and advance, the architecture and technology stack in alignment with business goals and scalability needs.
Collaborate with product, design, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Establish engineering best practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews, and agile methodologies.
Ensure high availability, performance, and security of the recruiting platform.
Mentor and develop engineering talent, fostering a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and vendor relationships as needed.

Qualifications:

8+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
Proven experience building and scaling web applications or platforms.
Strong understanding of modern front-end and back-end technologies (e.g., Angular/React, Java, Oracle, cloud platforms).
Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and DevOps practices.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in the Financial Services industry.
Previous experience in solution architecture.
Familiarity with data privacy and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
Familiarity with web accessibility standards (WCAG).
Background in building user-centric platforms with strong UX/UI principles.
