Position Summary/Purpose:

The purpose of this position is to assist the DMS team in the Digital Marketing Department with web-based projects that either are initiated within our team or funneled to us from the client service team.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities/Essential Functions

Running a monthly vanity renewal report and updating any applicable expiring/expired vanities as instructed by the client services team
Creating/updating event pages and/or employer partner pages as the client services team requests them
Reporting on and fixing broken links and misspellings on gcu.edu, subdomains of gcu.edu and other affiliated websites for our clients
Opportunity for pulling and reporting military compliance reports monthly
Assisting full?time DMS team members with administrative and reporting tasks
Special projects as assigned

Qualifications

While this is a remote position, you must be located/reside in Phoenix, AZ or within 30 miles from campus
Current GCU students enrolled in a bachelors or masters degree program in marketing, business, communications and/or similar concentrations
Basic HTML knowledge a strong plus
Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Willingness to work, learn and be flexible

Experience/Education Eligibility

Grand Canyon Education is committed to a student first policy. Therefore, all applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements to be considered for student employment:

Enrolled at GCU as a full?time student in a bachelors program or masters program
Retain a 2.0 GPA as a bachelor?level student or a 3.0 GPA as a master?level student

Please apply if you are ready to roll up your sleeves and become part of a dynamic team of hard-working video professionals!*****Responsibilities Related to Purpose:**Student Video Editors will be responsible for the following:* Editing original programming content for GCU, such as #AskGCU and Living as Lopes.* Editing videos for social media that require quick turn arounds.* Editing videos such as broadcast features and news stories.* Aiding in data management and organization of digital assets.* Assisting full time staff on video projects.

**Qualifications:*** A successful student candidate must showcase an excellent eye for creating captivating video, be deadline driven, and have a well-developed sense of urgency.* Working knowledge of video editing software preferred (Adobe Premiere).* Can showcase outstanding judgment in selection of b-roll and sound bites.* Ability to work quickly and produce quality video with short deadlines.* Being able to work independently.* Ability to be a self-starter, learn new skills, and learn new software.* Skills and experience in live streaming a bonus.**Education:**Grand Canyon Education is committed to a student first policy.
