HR Data Entry Specialist

Seeking a detail-oriented HRIS Data Entry Specialist to join our Human Resources team. This role provides day-to-day operational support for employee lifecycle transactions through the HR ticketing system. This role is critical in ensuring accurate and timely employee data management across separations, status changes, store transfers, and HRIS records. The ideal candidate is highly organized, dependable, and comfortable handling confidential information while maintaining compliance in a multi-state environment.

In this role, you will manage ticketed HR requests for personnel status changes, ensuring that all updates are properly validated, documented, and processed in our HRIS system.

Key Responsibilities

HRIS Ticket Management & Data Entry

Process HR tickets related to employee separations, including validation, deactivation across systems, and assignment of offboarding checklists.
Ensure compliance with state final pay obligations.
Handle tickets for employee status changes (promotions, demotions, market transfers, full-time/part-time changes) by validating requests, preparing offer letters, and updating employee accounts.
Manage store transfer tickets, ensuring documentation, offer letters, checklists, and account updates are completed accurately.
Coordinate with market leadership to ensure timely and accurate processing of tickets.
Maintain and update the monthly store management list and determine commission eligibility.

Employee Records & Compliance Support

Maintain accurate employee records and documentation within HRIS.
Collaborate with Payroll to resolve data discrepancies or system issues.

Qualifications

Previous experience in HRIS, HR administration, or data management. Ticketer experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tickets efficiently.
Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive employee information.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Location: Las Vegas, NV (4 days per week onsite)

Position: Data Entry Specialist

Salary: $17-$19/hr

Duration: 6 months

Schedule: Mon-Fri Start time 6am OT as needed

Job Summary

The person in this position is responsible for retrieving reports and documents for the scheduling process.

Essential Job Functions

Retrieval of documentation from various systems
Update multiple databases in a timely manner--Including Excel Workbook for scheduling tracking
Excellent email etiquette
Demonstrate the ability to effectively negotiate and drive resolutions as required with professionalism
Must be able to adapt to change and a fast-paced environment
Must have the ability to work independently and direct a group of individuals
Demonstrate the ability to organize and manage
Beginner level for Internet Browser and MS suite programs: Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel
Other duties as assigned
