Overview:

The Midstream Pipeline Purchasing Agent is responsible for project procurement of materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and required services. The Purchasing Agent reports to the project manager and liaises with the project superintendent, foreman, and home office accounting functions.

Primary Responsibilities:

Provides procurement services on behalf of the Project Manager.
Sets up and maintains a procurement process in accordance with corporate guidelines.
Supervises onsite warehouse.
Assists the Project Manager to forecast procurement needs in advance.
Assures purchase orders, subcontracts, and leases are fully executed.
Liaises with the Office Manager with administrative management of purchase orders change orders, subcontracts, and equipment rentals.
Assures payment registers are maintained.
Assures accurate receipt of materials, supplies, tools, and equipment.
Assists selection, evaluation of subcontractors and equipment leases.
Ensures subcontractors meet safety, quality, and schedule expectations.
Manages processing invoices, progress payments, change orders and verification of completed work.
Assures all purchases are closed out, receipt release of liens, and final payments are processed and paid.
Assists conducting project closeout management of surplus materials, tools and equipment.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Supervises onsite procurement staff.

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.
5+ years of experience in oil and gas midstream pipeline construction.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Excellent communication, organization, and leadership abilities.
Proficiency in company accounting software tools.
Ability to travel, work long hours, and operate in rugged field environments.

Overview:

The Labor Foreman is responsible for supervising the Labor Hands (Ground Hand) during midstream pipeline construction. The Laborers provide support for all field operations including pipe handling, ditch preparation, equipment spotting, cleanup, and safe worksite practices. Labor Hands work directly under the Straw Boss and alongside operators, welders, and other crew members to keep the job running safely and efficiently.

Primary Responsibilities:

Leads and directs pipeline Labor crews.
Assigns tasks daily based on the Superintendent's work plan and project priorities.
Monitors crew performance, maintains productivity, and ensures quality standards are met.
Follows all safety rules, PPE requirements, and company/client procedures.
Assures Laborers participates in daily JSAs, toolbox talks, and task hazard assessments.
Assures Laborers work to keep work areas clean, organized, and free from tripping or safety hazards.
Reports unsafe conditions, near misses, injuries, or equipment issues immediately.

Loads and unload trucks with materials, pipe, mats, fittings, and supplies.
Organizes and stages materials at designated locations along the ROW.
Assists with fence removal/repair, cleanup, grading, and restoration tasks.
Maintains clear access routes and safe walking paths for crew members.
Provides tools, equipment, and assistance to welders during production.
Helps operators by guiding them into safe work positions- equipment spotting.
Carries out work assignments from the Foreman accurately and efficiently.

Gives work direction to pipeline Labor crews.

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in oil and gas, construction, or pipeline work preferred.

Overview:
The Pipeline Foreman is responsible for supervising field crews in the construction, installation, maintenance, and repair of midstream oil & gas pipelines. This role ensures work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project plans, specifications, and regulations. The Foreman reports directly to the Superintendent and serves as the on-the ground leader for daily operations.

Primary Responsibilities:
Leads and directs pipeline crews, including operators, laborers, welders, fusers, and subcontractors.
Assigns tasks daily based on the Superintendent's work plan and project priorities.
Monitors crew performance, maintains productivity, and ensures quality standards are met.
Conducts daily JSA meetings, toolbox talks, and ensure all crew members understand task-specific hazards.
Enforces company and OSHA safety procedures, including trench safety, rigging, lifting, confined space, and PPE use.
Stops any unsafe work immediately and correct hazards before resuming operations.
Oversees excavation, stringing, bending, welding, coating, lowering-in, backfilling, and cleanup operations.
Verifies ditch prep, bedding, depth-of-cover, and pipe handling meet client specifications.
Coordinates with welders, inspectors, and operators to maintain workflow and minimize downtime.
Assists with tie-ins, hydrotest preparation, pig launcher/receiver installation, and other facility-related tasks.
Confirms all work is performed to drawings, alignment sheets, and project specifications.
Monitors weld map progress, coating repairs, and joint integrity.
Works closely with inspectors (CWI, NACE, API, Utility, Coating) to resolve issues quickly.
Ensures proper installation of fittings, valves, sleeves, supports, and anchors.
Acts as the field communication link between crew members, inspectors, and the Superintendent.
Provides accurate updates on progress, production rates, and any delays or issues.
Ensures crews understand daily goals, safety expectations, and quality requirements.
Coordinates and direct the movement and usage of excavators, dozers, side-booms, tampers, vacuum lifts, and trucks.
Ensures equipment is operated safely and within its limits.
Tracks material needs (pipe, fittings, skids, mats, fuel, supplies) and notify the Superintendent ahead of shortages.
Completes daily timesheets, equipment logs, material usage reports, and production quantities.
Documents issues such as delays, weather impacts, equipment breakdowns, and changes in scope.
Maintains accurate foreman-level paperwork required by the client.
Troubleshoots field challenges in real time (terrain issues, water in ditch, access problems, etc.).
Adjusts crew assignments and equipment usage to maintain consistent workflow.
Keeps production moving while maintaining safety and quality standards.

High school diploma or equivalent.
5 years oil and gas pipeline experience (midstream preferred).

Overview:
The Welder performs all welding activities on midstream oil & gas pipeline projects, ensuring all welds meet client specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry codes (API 1104, ASME, etc.). This role coordinating closely with the Pipeline Foreman, to maintain production, quality, and safety.

Primary Responsibilities:
Operates welding equipment in a safe and controlled manner.
Maintains proper awareness when working around personnel, utilities, and active work zones.
Excavates trench to the correct depth, width, slope, and alignment per project drawings.
Assists with ditch prep, bedding, bell holes, tie-in digs, and bore pit excavation.
Grades and maintains right-of-way (ROW) surfaces for equipment access and safety.
Supports welding, coating, and crew activities by positioning pipe and materials as directed.
Conducts daily pre-checks and walkarounds (fluids, tracks, hoses, controls, safety systems).
Reports equipment defects, leaks, alarms, or mechanical issues immediately.
Keeps equipment clean, fueled, greased, and properly maintained throughout the day.
Prevents damage to equipment, property, and underground utilities.
Follows all OSHA, company, and client safety procedures, including:
Spotter communication
Trench safety
Equipment exclusion zones
Rigging standards
Load handling and securement
Maintains constant situational awareness when working near ground personnel.
Attends daily JSAs, toolbox talks, and hazard assessments.
Works closely with Foreman, labor hands, welder helpers, to maintain smooth workflow.

7+ years pipeline welding experience.
