Completes the profile sheet, silent walk around, and demonstration drive with every prospect. Utilizes the most current form of a sales proposal sheet.\nSells/leases and delivers a minimum of 10 units per month, and keeps 12 units 90-day average for participation in any sales contest.\nApproaches, greets with standard greeting, and offers assistance or direction to any customer who enters the dealership showroom or sales lot.\nAssists customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses. Explains fully product performance, application, and benefits to prospects.\nDescribes all optional equipment available for customer purchase.\nOffers test drives to all prospects. Follows dealership procedure to obtain proper identification from customer prior to test drive.\nUtilizes VinSolutions prospecting and follow-up system Exhibits high level of commitment to customer satisfaction.\nKnows and understands the federal, state, and local laws which govern retail automotive sales.\nEstablishes personal income goals that are consistent with dealership standards of productivity, and devises a strategy to meet those goals.\nAttends product and sales training courses as requested by sales managers.\nKeeps abreast of new products, features, accessories, etc. and their benefits to customers. Ensures that the sales managers have an opportunity to meet each customer.\nTurns 100 percent of closed deals to finance and insurance manager, along with properly completed paperwork (insurance information, trade title, etc.)\nWrites complete sales orders and processes paperwork in accordance with established dealer policies.\nDelivers vehicles to customers, ensuring that the customer understands the vehicle's operating features, warranty, and paperwork.\nIntroduces customers to service department and collision center personnel. Assumes responsibility for purchasing, reconditioning, displaying, and merchandising used vehicle inventory. Oversees detail department to maximize schedule and ensure safety and cleanliness. Helps direct the sales activities of the dealership by performing the following duties personally or through sales staff.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nEnforces LeadCar Toyota Hazleton's used vehicle turn policy.\nConducts purchases of used vehicles through online auctions.\nPosts over age vehicles on Auction or disposes of in any other approved manner as per approved used vehicle aging guidelines.\nMaintains used vehicle inventory level to standards set President/ General Manager.\nEnsures all used vehicle inventory is merchandised properly physically and online.\nLearns and becomes proficient in usage of VAuto program for maximizing appraisals, selling price and stocking levels of used vehicles.\nEnsures that all proper paperwork per federal and state regulations is completed for the selling of each used vehicle.\nPosts all acquired vehicles per trade or purchased on the Used Car Safety Schedule spreadsheet.\nAssists with appraising incoming used vehicles utilizing group appraisal when possible.\nHelps conduct weekly sales meetings.\nAssists with the development of advertising campaigns and other promotions.\nHandles customer complaints immediately and according to LeadCar Toyota Hazleton guidelines.\nHires, trains, motivates, counsels and monitors the performance of the new and used vehicle department personnel.\nDirects sales staffing and trainings in ways that will enhance the development and control of sales programs.\nMonitors the productivity and performance of sales staff with monthly evaluations. Administers and monitors factory-sponsored programs.\nServes as liaison between the sales department and other departments.\nEstablishes standards for displaying, merchandising and maintaining new and used vehicles. Establishes procedures for quick disposal of over-aged vehicles.\nMeets with the President / General Manager to review monthly forecasts, commission sheets, productivity reports and the profit performance of each department as a whole and each person individually.\nReviews market analyses and sales reports to determine customer needs and volume potential and develops sales campaigns to accommodate the goals of the dealership.\nAnalyzes and controls expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements. Approves all sales incentives in writing before submitting to accounting.\nReviews and initials all deals before they are posted.
