Responsible for leadership tasks as delegated by the store manager including acting as manager on duty, when scheduled, to address customer experience, vendor relationship, or maintenance issues.\nProvide individual and team performance feedback and recommendations to managers.\nLead exceptional in-store customer experiences through demonstrating and modeling selling behaviors rooted in Our Values and elevated product knowledge.\nDisplay knowledge of product, company policies, and store strategies.\nSet the direction and goals for the day/shift when associates arrive for work.\nPerform opening and closing routines including execution of bank deposits, receipt of shipment, and interpret/disseminate company directives.\nCreate genuine connections with customers through uncovering needs, sharing product information, demoing products, and making personalized recommendations.\nDrive rewards program enrollment and engagement on both the sales floor and at check-out.\nAssist with floorset execution, window changes, visual presentation, and marketing placement as needed.\nAll store positions require constant physical activity, including standing, walking, reaching, and lifting. Associates are expected to climb ladders, lift, reach, bend, and kneel to obtain products for customers and to maintain the visual appearance of the store.
