Prepare customs entries and bonds, primarily air and ocean, with some cross-border.\nEnter customs data to meet regulatory and tracking requirements.\nEnsure regulatory requirements are met and proper documentation, including transit and customs clearance documents, exist for shipments.\nEnsure documentation is accurately processed, distributed, and released to customs representatives, carriers, forwarders, customers, and agents in a timely manner.\nComplete all necessary data entry and confirmation of key milestones (customs clearance, etc.) as specified by customer standard operating procedures.\nComplete accurate billing to clients based on established client pricing, while ensuring appropriate costs and profits are maintained.\nUtilize knowledge of Inco terms and commercial invoice requirements to provide guidance to customers and other team members, as needed.\nArrange the transfer and delivery of shipments with appropriate partners.\nDevelop and maintain successful relationships with clients, government agencies and local vendors (e.g., custom brokers, customs officials, airline representatives, freight forwarders, local pickup and delivery companies, regional trucking companies, line haul providers)\nPrepare timely customs management information and reports as requested or specified per department KPIs.\nProvide support to team members with training activities and audit oversight.\nMaintain client specific HTS databases.\nAssist with Global Trade Management projects as needed including classification, post entry filing, auditing, etc.\nIncrease Noatum value proposition by utilizing compliance expertise to provide support regarding classification, documentation, and other government agencies to clients.\nParticipate as an effective team member with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.\nMaintain courteous, prompt, and efficient customer relations.\nComply with all necessary procedures to assure a clean, properly organized, safe and healthy environment for all personnel.\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nOperational experience in customs brokerage, preferably with an international logistics provider.\nOperational experience in customs brokerage processes, including preparing, filing, and auditing customs entries.\nExperienced in working with Participating Government Agencies involved in the customs clearance process.\nKnowledge of applicable state, federal, and international laws and regulations as they relate to primary services provided (i.e., customs, security, other import and export government agencies that regulate international trade).\nEffective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.\nCompetency in PC, spreadsheets, and database applications (including Microsoft Office Suite).\nKnowledge and experience in customs entry software.\nPreferred Qualifications

5+ years customs brokerage experience, preferably with an international freight forwarder.\nCertified Customs Specialist (CCS).\nU.S. Customs Broker License.\nCollege degree in related field or equivalent combination of experience and education.\nSome leadership experience, as this is a senior level position.\nPhysical Requirements
