Production Underwriter\nAmwins is seeking qualified candidates for a Production Underwriter position for our nationwide E&S Binding Authority Commercial and Personal Lines Insurance division, Amwins Access.

Responsibilities

Successfully create and manage a profitable book of new and renewal business

Prospect for new business by developing relationships with retail agents through both traditional and creative marketing strategies

Remain up to date with new insurance companies’ offers and how to leverage them

Prospect for new business markets and/or lines to write with sales techniques based on trust and relationship building

Mentor and train new team members

Qualifications

2-3 years of E&S binding authority experience

Bachelor’s degree not required but preferred

Knowledge of the sales process and pipeline management

Ability to travel

Licensed preferred
