About Us

Hilltop Roofing is an RCAT licensed commercial and residential roofing company (CRRL #03-0552) serving Fort Worth and the surrounding areas. We are a boutique, specialty firm, with full capabilities to service or replace any roof type, from basic asphalt shingles up to slate, metal, and tile. Hilltop is a division of Pine & Stone, a holistic residential services company located here in Fort Worth. At Hilltop we are making customers for life, not closing one-off sales. Hilltop is still founder-managed and you will be working with the founders on a daily basis.

The Opportunity

Hilltop is seeking to scale its business with organic, grass-roots methods, reaching ideal clients, with ideal results. This journey will start with a limited term engagement, with paid training that is not a draw against future commissions. Sales reps that hit performance benchmarks during the paid trial period will be offered an ongoing term opportunity in outside sales with a clear track to management positions.

What you'll do

Engage with your community to introduce Hilltop Roofing to local homeowners and business owners Generate leads how you see fit, we want you to be natural and find your way Utilize our growing client database to make warm-calls and follow up on past interactions No ladders required - you will use a drone to collect images and measurements of the roof Review the roof and overall property condition with the client and educate them on their options Utilize our pre-set pricing to easily make offers in the field - no multiple trips or back-and-forth games

What we provide

Paid trial period, to cover your gas and time. Not an advance against commissions. Pay Structure

The pay structure for the trial period and outside sales position is in-line with common industry practices for independent contractor sales reps This is 10/50/50 independent contractor sales position On each job, the company keeps a 10% hold-back to cover overhead and indirect costs, then the sales rep is paid 50% of the jobs gross profit after accounting for all direct job costs You are directly knowledgeable of every cost related to the project, and directly involved with the collection of payment, so the entire process is an open book. Longer term, successful representatives will have the opportunity to move into salaried company positions, with incentive based bonus pay and benefits Successful sales reps can expect to make between $60,000 - $150,000 and up, it all depends on you.

Requirements

Must be 18 yrs or older, a citizen or legal resident You need a vehicle, drivers license, and proof of car insurance You need a working smart phone, we provide access to the apps you will need Experience in sales is a strong preference No roofing experience required A strong moral code and foundation of integrity. We are not a sales mill roofing company. We want clients for life. We approach each house like its our own home, and our own checkbook. A desire to learn - we need open minded individuals who want to know why things are the way that they are A desire to educate - we are a resource to our clients, not the other way around Personal ownership - we look to ourselves first for solutions Outgoing - have you never met a stranger? This is a somewhat flexible position in that there are not stated hours, however you will not succeed unless you are committed. This is not something you can excel at part-time.
