Superintendent - Commercial GC - Wilmington

Description Oversee daily on‑site construction operations to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards. Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, field crews, and jobsite activities. Manage project schedules, sequencing, site logistics, and daily/weekly planning. Enforce safety policies, conduct site inspections, and maintain OSHA compliance. Maintain project documentation including daily reports, photos, and progress updates. Ensure work meets plans, specifications, and quality expectations; manage inspections and punch lists Identify and resolve field issues, collaborating with the project team, architects, engineers, and vendors. Represent the company professionally in interactions with clients, inspectors, and other stakeholders.

Profile 5+ years experience with a general contractor in a Superintendent role Residential building experience is not relevant for this role Seeking construction experience in the following sectors: commercial, retail, restaurant/ QSR, municipal, federal, higher ed, light industrial, healthcare Bachelors degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field of study desired, not required Must have an outstanding business acumen and professional demeanor to manage client relationships Construction software proficiency: Building Connected, Procore Leadership skills Excellent communication skills Job Offer Base salary DOE Annual bonus Company truck + gas card 401K with 4% employer match Health insurance including family coverage 2 weeks PTO + company holidays
