Director of Financial Planning & Analysis Aurora, IL | Hybrid 3 days On-Site

The Director of Financial Planning & Analysis is responsible for leading financial planning, forecasting, and analysis across North America to support senior leadership decision‑making. This role aligns U.S. financial plans with company objectives, delivers performance insights, and drives standardized, efficient FP&A processes that enable strong business performance.

Responsibilities

Lead regional FP&A processes including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.

Oversee monthly financial reporting and business review materials for senior leadership.

Partner with sales, marketing, operations, and finance leaders to develop financial projections.

Analyze performance trends and provide actionable insights to improve results.

Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes and reporting tools.

Lead strategic financial and analytical initiatives across the region.

Support development of data visualization and advanced analytics.

About You

University degree in Economics, Business Administration, Management, or similar.

MBA or CPA preferred.

12+ years of corporate finance experience, including 6+ years in FP&A.

Strong background in financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting.

Ability to translate complex financial data into clear business insights.

Proven leader with strong communication and change‑management skills.

A minimum of 200 Mb/sec download and 10 Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova.

This role’s pay range is between $153K and $190K. The position is also commission eligible / bonus eligible.
