Adventurous Journeys Capital Partners (“AJCP”) is seeking a Senior Vice President to oversee all asset management activities for its residential platforms, driving asset- and portfolio-level performance through disciplined operating strategy, capital planning, and value creation.

ABOUT THE ROLE The SVP, Asset Management will serve as the senior residential asset leader for the firm, partnering with third-party operators and internal teams to identify and execute operational improvements, oversee capital planning and execution, and guide decision-making across the portfolio. This role will also provide asset management leadership in support of refinancing, recapitalization, and acquisition activity, while managing and mentoring asset management resources supporting the residential portfolio.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Provide senior-level oversight of all residential assets including the Memoir and Outpost portfolios.

Act as the primary decision-maker for residential asset management matters, driving operating strategy, prioritizing initiatives, and resolving issues as they arise.

Partner with third-party property management and operating partners to drive operating efficiencies, improve performance, and ensure alignment with ownership objectives.

Lead asset-level and portfolio-wide operating reviews, budgets, and forecasts, identifying opportunities to improve NOI, cash flow, and long-term value.

Drive operational improvement initiatives across the residential portfolio, including expense management, revenue optimization, staffing models, and service delivery.

Oversee and execute capital expenditure planning, approvals, and project oversight, including renovations, repositionings, and deferred maintenance.

Address asset-level matters including insurance, legal, regulatory, and risk management issues in partnership with internal and external advisors.

Provide asset management leadership in support of refinancing, recapitalization, and disposition activity, including review of assumptions, strategy, and execution.

Oversee and leverage analytical support from asset management team members, ensuring high-quality financial analysis, reporting, and modeling.

Partner with the Investments team to provide asset-level input into underwriting, diligence, and business plan development for new residential acquisitions and joint ventures.

Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams including Investments, Development, Operations, Accounting, Legal, and Capital Markets to align residential asset strategy with broader firm objectives.

Serve as the primary residential asset management liaison to joint venture partners, lenders, consultants, and other external stakeholders.

Mentor and manage residential asset management personnel, setting priorities and developing talent.

Requirements WHO YOU ARE AJCP is seeking a highly-motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced, but disciplined, entrepreneurial environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in residential operations, real estate, and investment strategy. This role also requires the following capabilities:

Strong communication skills with ability to manage across diverse stakeholders in a decentralized structure

Demonstrated strength in analytical thinking, financial modeling, and both written and verbal communication

Proficient in Microsoft Office, with high level of expertise in Excel

Self-motivated, flexible, and detail-oriented

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS Required

10+ years of relevant hotel operations experience

Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Hotel Management, or related discipline

Deep knowledge of residential industry trends, best practices, rules, and regulations

Ability to travel up to 20%

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensations, or range thereof, for roles that will be performed in Illinois. Actual salaries may vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, role and performance. The range listed is just one component of AJCP’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $185,000-$245,000. Other rewards may include annual bonuses. In addition, we provide a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off.
