M102564**Job Description Summary**The Executive Director, Value Based Care will serve as the senior leader responsible for managing and advancing the strategic value-based care collaboration between Millennium Physician Group (MPG) and other organizations. This role will oversee all value-based activities across the Medicare Advantage (MA) and Medicare Accountable Care Organization (ACO) lines of business. The Executive Director will act as the central point of accountability for partnership execution, ensuring alignment of physician, operational, and financial strategies to deliver improved patient outcomes and optimized performance under value-based care arrangements.**How will you make an impact & Requirements**# Responsibilities* Serve as the primary executive liaison between MPG and partner organizations for partnership strategy, operations, and performance.* Build and maintain trust-based relationships with leadership teams, physicians, and staff across both organizations.* Define and manage the joint governance structure, ensuring alignment of goals, accountability, and transparent decision-making.* Lead the execution of value-based initiatives for Medicare Advantage and Medicare ACO populations, including quality, utilization, and cost management.* Oversee contract management, performance measurement, and compliance with CMS requirements.* Partner with analytics teams to monitor clinical, financial, and operational metrics, and provide actionable insights to leadership.* Drive strategies to improve Star Ratings, HEDIS measures, risk adjustment accuracy, and shared savings opportunities.* Develop and implement physician engagement strategies to align clinical performance with value-based goals.* Support provider education, compensation alignment, and redesign workflow to ensure adoption of best practices.* Partner with care management and clinical operations leaders to integrate population health strategies across the care continuum.* Coordinate cross-functional initiatives (clinical operations, analytics, contracting, finance) to deliver on partnership objectives.* Ensure timely reporting and communication of performance against key metrics.* Identify gaps and implement improvement plans to ensure the sustainability of value-based results.* Identify opportunities for expansion of partnership activities, including new MA contracts, ACO participation, or additional value-based models.* Assess market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activity to inform strategy.* Develop business cases and recommendations for leadership to expand or enhance the partnership’s value-based portfolio.* Demonstrate excellent guest service to internal team members and patients.* Perform other related duties as assigned.# Qualifications* Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Health Administration, or related field. Master’s degree, preferred.* 10 + years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare management, with significant exposure to value-based care.* Proven track record managing Medicare Advantage and ACO programs, including contract performance and physician engagement.* Experience leading partnerships, joint ventures, or collaborative healthcare models strongly preferred.* Strong financial and analytical acumen, with the ability to interpret complex data and drive performance improvement.* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with physicians, executives, and payors.* Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity, prioritize competing demands, and deliver measurable results.* Knowledge of CMS programs, risk adjustment, and value-based reimbursement structures.* Improved partnership performance against Medicare Advantage and ACO benchmarks.* Achievement of targeted shared savings and quality outcomes.* Strong physician engagement and alignment with partnership goals.* Effective governance and joint decision-making between MPG and partner organizations.* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.# Physical Demands* Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker must have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
