Account Manager, covering New York Metro Area. PowerPak is growing and we have 1 additional sales position to fill in the New York Metro Area. Pay:
First year on target total compensation is $120,000 with no cap ($70,000 base) but you must have the following sales capabilities. Responsibilities
Sell commodities into a highly competitive market with a proven track record of hunting and developing new business. Use a consultative selling approach, listen and ask questions effectively, and handle objections to meet high performance targets. Excel at cold-calling, reaching decision makers, value selling, and maintaining strong relationships from an early stage. Work independently in a satellite location alongside a small team, with a strong sense of urgency and accountability for results. Grow existing accounts and meet Key Performance Indicators; manage time and opportunities efficiently. Qualifications
Two years of prior B2B sales success selling commodities into a highly competitive market. Two years of experience selling commodities and/or in related industries is preferred; familiarity with Industrial or Construction supplies is helpful but not required. Proven ability to hunt and develop new business; strong written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable in an inside sales role with a primary objective of growing existing accounts. Familiarity with NetSuite ERP is helpful but not required. Must be able to work in an office five days a week in Congers, NY. Job Details
