Carpenter Wall Panel Installer
WORKSITES: 70-MILE RADIUS OF QUAKERTOWN (Tri‑State Area, PA)

General Summary of Position The Carpenter Panel Installer installs a variety of Light Gauge Metal Wall Panels, including load‑bearing panels, curtainwall panels, structural steel, and other products offered as add‑ons to Klover Wall Panel Systems. This position requires familiarity with trade tools and the ability to read, follow, and understand blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
Essential (Core Competencies) Duties
Accurately measure and read height, width, length, and other proportions with a tape measure
Assist foreman with proper layout for work to be put in place
Fabricate or alter parts using grinders, sawzalls, shears, hammers, punches, or drills
Join materials with PAFs, nails, screws, staples, or adhesives
Use levels, rules, plumb bobs, framing squares, and lasers to ensure everything is level and secure
Check work along the way to ensure it meets specification and quality standards
Install/use rigging and hoisting equipment
Install wall panel products according to specifications and building codes
Maneuver units into position for installation, and anchor the units
Work at heights with several elevated platforms
Keep work area clean and productive
Always exercise the proper use of PPE
Set up and safely use company equipment
Maintain welding certification through maintenance logs and supervisor observation
Qualifications Preferred Education and Experience
Participation in a secondary or post‑secondary trade curriculum
1+ year experience with panel or structural steel installation
1+ year experience with stick welding (optional)
Knowledge and understanding of construction safety devices and PPE
Rigging and signaling experience is a plus
Carpentry knowledge

Work Environment Panel installers work indoors and outdoors on many types of construction projects, with varying degrees of exposure to the elements. This may include extreme heat (>85°F for longer than one hour of exposure), extreme cold ( Physical Requirements
Employee must have full dexterity of hands and arms.
Must be able to see objects close and far away.
Must be able to focus on sounds associated with tasks being performed; hearing impairment would disqualify a candidate.
Must be fit for duty at all times and not be working under the influence of performance‑altering substances.
