, MI Key Responsibilities: Lead major
Electronic Parking Brake (EPB)
and
foundation brake
business pursuits in North America. Drive the entire pursuit cycle: opportunity identification, technical alignment, customer engagement, proposal development, and negotiation. Act as the technical and commercial interface with OEM customers, ensuring BWI solutions meet performance, cost, and timing requirements. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key NA OEMs and Tier-1 partners to position BWI as a preferred brake system supplier. Collaborate with global engineering, product management, and sales teams to define pursuit strategies and execute go-to-market plans. Monitor competitive landscape and market trends to refine business pursuit strategies. Ensure seamless handover from pursuit to program execution, supporting launch success. Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field). Strong technical background in foundation brakes and EPB systems
— including design, performance, validation, and vehicle integration. Proven track record of leading successful business pursuits in the automotive sector. Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills with the ability to balance technical trade-offs with business objectives. Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills; ability to influence at all levels internally and externally. Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
Advanced degree in Engineering or MBA. 5+ years of experience in braking systems engineering, program management, or business development. Established network and customer relationships with major North American OEMs. Familiarity with automotive sourcing processes, RFQ/RFI management, and cost modeling. Experience working in a global organization with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams. Required Travel:
