You are able to do **operational work** and at the same time **think and act strategically**. You are not afraid to build a strong sales pipeline while managing a team of experts who are responsible for operational implementation of projects. You feel comfortable working in a **start-up environment** and have the foresight to make it grow. You have the ambition to take on **the management of this growing consultancy department** and to lead Water Experts.As part of this application, the Managing Director will be expected to invest in the company and acquire an equity stake. This ensures 'skin in the game’ and strong alignment between leadership, ownership, and the long-term growth of Water Experts.In your role as Managing Director, you:* Use your **background in sales and business development** to set up projects for new and existing clients* Focus heavily on business development and sales, this will be around **80% of your daily work*** Are **not afraid of cold calling** to grow your customer base.
