Schedule Details/Additional Information: Monday-Friday 8am-5PM

Pay Range: $28.55 - $42.85

Duties

Photograph patients with standard and wide field fundus cameras.

Photograph patients with a photo slitlamp camera.

Perform fluorescein angiograms.

Photographically record patients with a camera to document external pathology.

Photocopy, on color and black and white films, books, charts, graphs, and typed material for use in lecture slides; make duplicate slides.

Process, mount, and print film from patient photography (fluorescein angiograms, endothelial cells, etc.) and photocopies.

Sort, label, and file photographs (negatives, positives, slides and prints.)

Clean and maintain photographic and related equipment.

Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Minimum Acceptable Qualifications

Four years of photography experience, including a minimum of two years of experience in performance of ophthalmic photography duties including fundus photography and fluorescein angiography. One year of experience in slitlamp photography is required.

Knowledge of and adequate experience to perform basic and specialized black & white darkroom procedures.

Knowledge of and adequate experience to perform routine ophthalmic photocopies.

Knowledge of and adequate experience to perform sorting, labeling, and filing of ophthalmic photographs.

Ability to perform the above duties at a professional level of quality and speed and with professional rapport with patients and staff.

Additional Desirable Qualifications

Experience beyond the minimum required.

Current certification as a Certified Retinal Angiographer.
