This position is part of our
Extended Season , requiring availability from early May through the first week of January 2027. Applicants must be able to commit to working during this entire time frame. This position is available for those ages 16+. Job Description: This position is responsible for taking quality pictures and selling these unique images to guests to drive purchases to ensure profitability. Images will be captured at the park entrance, ride photobooths, and some additional locations during specific festival offerings. This host will also provide operational support and facility upkeep while providing excellent customer service to guests in accordance with safety guidelines and park operating procedures.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Approaches guests and offers photo services in a friendly manner
Assists guests by answering questions and providing product information
Operating cash register/POS system in an efficient manner and follow all cash handling policies/procedures as outlined by Kentucky Kingdom and Sales Audit
Delivers high quality images to guests, accurately setting camera settings prior to shooting photos
Ensures assigned photo location is stocked, clean, prepared and organized
Handles all equipment safely with care; promptly communicates equipment issues
Demonstrates strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Maintain a high degree of attention to detail and concentration to sustain an ordinary routine without constant supervision
Must have Proficient knowledge of all packages available to our guests
Must be able to perform to standard Photo Selling Skills and guest interactions
Represent Kentucky Kingdom in a friendly and professional manner to guests, vendors, suppliers and fellow host
Supports all teammates with words, behavior and actions that are in alignment to attain locations budgeted profit and maintain a positive work environment
Follows all Photo Operational Policies and Procedures effectively and adheres to all Photo Safety Guidelines. Reports any safety issue to their supervisor immediately
Supports and exhibits behaviors that are in alignment with our Company Vision, Mission, and Core Values
Protect the privacy and security of our guests and coworkers, including PCI compliance
Maintain all equipment in proper working condition. Report any issues to leadership, as needed.
Must be committed to achieving daily sales goals and goals by period.
Drive sales through engagement of guests, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge.
Speak with Kodak support personnel regarding technical issues.
Follow guidelines and expectations listed on the Training Verification Form
Follow guidelines and expectations listed on the Host Handbook
Management reserves the right to change and/or add to these duties
Positive attitude and dedication to work.
Ability to greet guests entering, exiting, or shopping in work locations.
Must be outgoing and able to attract guests to their location.
Assist in loss prevention techniques by following a culture of awareness and responsibility.
Ability to communicate with guests and coworkers in a professional and courteous manner in person, on the radio, or phone.
Computer literate and willing to learn the Pronto and Kodak POS Systems · Ability to handle cash and perform accurate counts/change.
Understand and apply pricing information, promotions, and season pass discounts.
Ability to prioritize and complete assignments in a timely manner.
Ability to maintain a high standard of safety, guest service, and cleanliness.
Ability to maintain sensitivity to the needs of guests and take action to meet their needs within company guidelines.
Ability to adapt and adjust to changes as needed.
Ability to consistently meet park and HFE standards.
Ability to comprehend instructions and retain information.
Must follow departmental attendance policy by consistently reporting for all scheduled shifts on time
Ability to cooperate with fellow Hosts and accept frequent changes in work schedule and job assignments in order to facilitate the greatest effectiveness and efficiency in the work area to maximize sales.
Participation in all required training sessions
Knowledge and acceptance of departmental policies.
Able and willing to perform other duties as assigned
