Why This Role Exists We have strong local brand equity, but our marketing presence hasn't kept pace with our reputation or our growth trajectory. We need someone who can own our marketing end-to-end: build our SEO and content foundation, grow our B2B social media presence across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, create consistent visual assets, optimize our website for conversions, and manage email campaigns that nurture leads through the sales cycle.

If you're an entry-level marketer with hands-on experience in SEO, content strategy, social media, design, and/or marketing campaigns, this is your chance to build something meaningful and grow with a company that's scaling.

The Role: What You'll Own

Own our blog strategy and write content that attracts and engages our target audience

Write social media posts, email campaigns, web copy, and marketing materials that position Mattco as a trusted authority in commercial roofing

Collaborate with leadership on messaging, positioning, and content calendars—I'll review and approve, but you own the creation

SEO & Search Visibility

Execute our SEO strategy: keyword research, on-page optimization, technical SEO, and building search visibility

Manage location-based and targeted campaigns to reach our audience in key markets

Track and report on search rankings, organic traffic, and conversion metrics monthly

Social Media & Digital Engagement

Manage our B2B social platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) with a strategic content calendar

Create original content that showcases completed projects, case studies, company culture, and industry insights

Coordinate and manage our online review campaign—monitor reviews, respond to feedback, and drive positive customer testimonials

Engage authentically with our audience: answer questions, build relationships, and position Mattco as an industry authority

Develop and execute email marketing campaigns that nurture leads through the sales cycle

Build email templates, segment lists, and create sequences that drive engagement

Manage Monday.com integration and track email performance metrics

Visual Design & Brand Assets

Design and produce marketing materials: social graphics, email templates, web assets, presentation decks, and proposal materials

Maintain visual brand consistency across all digital and print touchpoints

Edit and optimize photo and video assets from job sites—make our completed projects shine

Website & Conversion Optimization

Implement updates and improvements to our website—optimize for user experience, conversions, and search visibility

Create high-converting landing pages for specific campaigns

Test and iterate: A/B test headlines, calls-to-action, and layouts to maximize lead generation

Analytics & Reporting

Track and report on all marketing metrics: traffic sources, conversion rates, social engagement, lead quality, email performance

Analyze market trends and competitor strategies to inform our positioning

Collaborate with sales to ensure marketing efforts align with pipeline goals and customer insights

Required

Hands-on experience in at least two of these areas: SEO, content writing, digital marketing (SEO, display, email), social media management, or graphic design

Portfolio or examples of your work—show us what you've actually built, written, or optimized

Proficiency with design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma, or similar)

Comfort with analytics tools (Google Analytics, social platform insights)

Strong writing skills—you write clear, compelling copy for multiple channels

Detail-oriented and organized—you manage multiple campaigns, deadlines, and platforms simultaneously

Data-driven mindset—you make decisions based on metrics, not guesses

Coachable—you welcome feedback and implement it quickly

Self-motivated—you can manage your own projects and priorities without constant supervision

Comfortable with direct communication—we value authenticity and honest feedback

Nice to Have

Experience with WordPress, Monday.com, Mailchimp, or other marketing platforms

Familiarity with Monday.com or other CRM/project management tools

B2B marketing experience or knowledge of commercial real estate/construction

Video editing or content production skills

Experience scaling a brand or launching new marketing initiatives

Location Mattco Main Office, 5591 Raymond Stotzer Parkway, College Station, TX 77845 (in-office, local candidates preferred)

Hours Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Salary $45,000 - $60,000 annually, based on experience and skills
