We are a collaborative mid-sized agency with an immediate opportunity for an Account Coordinator to join our growing Consumer team!

ACCOUNT COORDINATOR, CONSUMER BRANDS The Account Coordinator (AC) is the backbone of the account team, keeping projects organized, timelines on track, and communications flowing smoothly. You’ll support consumer brands by executing integrated PR campaigns that include earned media, influencer programming, and creative activations.

What You’ll Bring: Media Relations

Build media lists using tools like Cision and MuckRack

Begin developing relationships with key media contacts

Craft compelling pitches, conduct outreach, and secure coverage

Influencer Programming

Build influencer rosters aligned with agreed-to strategies

Track influencer deliverables and report back-end metrics

Begin to manage influencer relationships, with guidance on negotiations and content review

Coordination & Team Support

Serve as the team coordinator: schedule internal/client calls, set agendas, and circulate detailed recaps

Organize client folders, databases, and brand assets

Oversee brand sample inventory and deliveries to media and influencers

Assist with event logistics, mailers, and other tactical program elements

Measurement & Reporting

Track and manage earned coverage, keeping tracker up-to-date in realtime

Support programmatic reporting for events, mailers, and influencer campaigns

Proactively communicate project status and capacity with managers

Demonstrate a positive attitude, collaborative spirit, and willingness to support teammates

Business & Research

Conduct research to support new business opportunities

Monitor competitive and industry news

Identify trends within clients’ industries, with sweet spot for pop culture

Draft client and team updates on relevant news

Build understanding of the communications landscape, agency teams, processes, resources, and tools

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

0-1 years of experience (internships included)

Strong writing and verbal communication skills

Positive and flexible attitude

Proactive and curious mindset

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Ability to multitask and meet deadlines

Strong attention to detail

SALARY: $45,000 - $48,000

(New hires are typically brought into the organization between the minimum to midpoint of the salary range posted depending on qualifications, internal equity, and the budgeted amount for the role.)

Location: Remote or in the New York office

Our Flexible Work Policy: We believe that our best work happens in a hybrid working environment. If you are in the NYC (or commutable surrounding distance) hub we want to see you in person 2 days a week. That could mean in our office, in our client's office, on the road with them or attending an industry event.

For those outside the NYC hub, you will be asked to be in person too. Examples of this may include client meetings, events or team meetings. There will also be in person opportunities for you to connect with others who live in your hub to collaborate and work together.
