The Electrical Service Technician is responsible for providing on-site service, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of electrical systems for commercial and industrial facilities. This role requires independent work as well as collaboration with project teams to complete service calls efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial electrical systems Perform electrical installations, upgrades, remodels, and tenant improvements Troubleshoot electrical components, wiring, and controls Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints Communicate clearly with customers regarding service needs and solutions Ensure work complies with applicable codes, safety standards, and company policies Complete service documentation accurately and on time Qualifications
Previous experience in commercial or industrial electrical service Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Knowledge of NEC and electrical safety standards Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally Excellent customer service and communication skills Preferred Qualifications
