We have an exciting opportunity for a Estimator located in Fond du Lac, WI.

How You Will Contribute This position plays a critical role within our Major Construction Division, leading the estimating of all facets of mechanical construction across a wide range of vertical markets for large, complex projects throughout Wisconsin. You will showcase your attention to detail by producing timely, accurate, and concise estimates that meet the specifications and customer requirements of all projects. As an Estimator, you will estimate design build and plan spec mechanical projects; identify needed labor, determine the material and schedule requirements; collect and analyze job bid information; compute cost; present finalized estimates; and utilize Trimble Autobid software for estimating the projects. You will also work in Microsoft Excel and BlueBeam. Strive to become an instrumental team member by identifying areas for improvement. Work alongside customers and members at all levels of the organization by providing top-notch customer service. You will be challenged to excel beyond your expectations in a team-oriented environment.

What You Need To Qualify Ahern will help make the most of your experience in a construction environment combined with post-secondary education from an applicable program. Candidates with prior mechanical estimating experience is preferred. Experience working in Trimble AutoBid or other estimating software is preferred along with a solid background in Microsoft Excel being required. You must have a comfort in reading blueprints. A commitment to providing exceptional customer service, possessing strong written and verbal communication skills, and being able to execute tasks with a great amount of detail will be crucial.
