Automotive BDC Representative

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Business Development Center (BDC) team. This role is ideal for someone who excels in lead generation, appointment setting, and customer communication, and is interested in growing into a sales consultant position. You will play a key role in driving dealership traffic and supporting the sales team by managing inbound and outbound customer interactions. Key Responsibilities: Proactively generates appointments and quotes through outbound prospecting and lead management. Respond promptly to inbound inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms. Set and confirm appointments for the sales team, ensuring a smooth handoff. Listen attentively to customer needs and provide appropriate guidance on vehicle options. Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high satisfaction levels. Collaborate closely with sales consultants to provide qualified leads and customer insights. Meet or exceed monthly performance targets for calls, appointments, and conversions. Direct customers to online product resources and dealership tools. Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and follow up consistently. Professionally deliver messages and inquiries to appropriate departments. Contribute to a positive team environment with a proactive, solution-oriented attitude. Qualifications: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for pricing and inventory coordination. Experience in upselling or promoting additional services is a plus. Multilingual abilities are a bonus for diverse customer interactions. Prior experience in automotive BDC, customer service, or sales preferred. Growth Opportunity: This position offers a clear path for advancement into a sales consult. Training and mentorship will be provided to support your transition into vehicle sales. Benefits: Competitive hourly pay ($20.00 Per Hour D.O.E.) with monthly performance bonuses based on total units sold.
