
Responsibilities
Analyze material and information flows. Analyze opportunities in productivity, material consumption, other operation expenses, quality, safety and space utilization. Quantify the effects of improved processes, work flows and fore mentioned opportunities. Make documented proposals for improvements. Syndicate with unit’s management on implementation of changes.
Support management and associates in overall change process. Must be able to work autonomic and have an analytical mind. Drive, enthusiasm and creativity are key factors.
Train and build capability in all levels of plant regarding lean manufacturing.
Perform diagnostics on major cost drivers (material, labor and OOC).
Plan and guide unit management in productivity, material waste, safety and quality improvement initiatives.
Actively practice change management.
Actively participate in unit’s performance management system and dialogue.
Present progress and plans to company executives.
Liaise with corporate and area CI resources.
Propose and keep up with company Best Practice and benchmark initiatives.
Education
Bachelors Degree in Business Economics, Science, Industrial Engineering or a related field required.
Work Experience
3-5 years lean manufacturing experience or background as industrial engineer required.
Experience in food manufacturing/production preferred.
Job Skills
Proficient with MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-Access, MS-PowerPoint and MS-Outlook, math aptitude. Possibly Visio, SAP-PP knowledge.
Communication Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Certificates, Licenses and Registrations
Lean Manufacturing / TPS / 6-Sigma certified preferred.
Travel Limited, up to 10%
Work Environment Normal office environment.
