With a commitment to expanding our customer base and service offered, we are looking for an individual to join our Quincy Parts team.
REPORTS TO: Parts Manager
PURPOSE OF POSITION: To service customers by phone or in person, identify customer needs and the availability of parts ordered.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Help determine and obtain parts for customers as requested by phone or in person, suggest companion requirements and ensure that the customer is exposed to full product line.
Locate and obtain ordered part(s) for customer from inventory.
Provide sales price to customer for each sale in accordance with company price sheet.
Assist outside sales representatives with their orders.
Answer customers questions about products, prices, availability, and product specifications
Process cash and credit transactions.
Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery or pick up.
Maintain inventory for Parts Department.
Daily Cycle counting
Achieve revenue and profit objectives set by Management.
Prepare quote documents with detailed pricing, specs & timeline.
Communicate New Orders within the team for tracking purposes.
Establish Relationships within our Sales & Service Teams.
Continue to acquire knowledge and learn the Trailer and Transportation Industry.
Handle all customer concerns professionally with a focus on a long-term relationship.
Promote all areas of the company: Service, Parts, and Sales.
Reinforce Craftsmen safety standards and assist with our safety programs.

REQUIRMENTS:
Education – This position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent of

years of sales experience within the Transportation Industry; Sales of Trailer Heavy Duty, Medium Duty, Industrial or Automotive Parts
Computer Skills – Familiar with Microsoft products. Ability to operate other office equipment. The ability to efficiently navigate Windows based software. Use of all current technology as a communication and efficiency tool is a must.
Language Skills – Requires the ability to read, write, communicate, and interpret accurately in English. Employee must demonstrate the ability to interact tactfully, positively, and strategically with customers, vendor partners and team members.
Mathematical Skills – Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Physical Demands – Majority of lifting and carrying will, occasionally involve parts up to 75 lbs.

The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, bend, twist, reach, drive, and climb a ladder. A valid driver’s license will be required to operate Craftsmen vehicles.
Requires the ability to operate a personal computer, smart phone, multi-line phone, calculator, and other basic office equipment.
