Location: Hybrid CHARLOTTE, NC & DALLAS, TX

Onsite expectation: 3 days onsite per week

Pay range: $69.54 - $72.54/HR

Job Description

Seeking a senior?level Active Directory Engineer with deep expertise in the inner workings of domain controllers and on?prem AD infrastructure. This is a true engineering role not an AD admin position.

Required Experience

Exceptional scripting capability using PowerShell (expert level) and some Python
Strong, hands?on understanding of the guts and internals of domain controllers
Experience virtualizing AD?related applications
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex AD issues end?to?end
Background in fully on?prem Active Directory environments
Broader infrastructure environment experience is flexible focus is on AD depth

Core Responsibilities

Build, configure, and manage domain controllers
Join controllers to domains and separate/remove controllers cleanly
Manage and troubleshoot Group Policy Objects (GPOs)
Diagnose and recover AD outages
Understand and optimize AD replication processes
Patch, maintain, and harden domain controllers
Support virtualization challenges related to AD components
Script automation and tooling

Senior Technical Director, Solid Waste

Charlotte, NC (also Asheville, Durham, Greensboro, Wilmington). WSP seeks an experienced leader to helm civil and environmental engineering projects centered on waste management, stormwater, and wastewater. The role focuses on coal combustion residuals (CCR) and municipal solid waste (MSW) within the power market.

Responsibilities

Lead project teams delivering services for waste management facility design and permitting, stormwater management, landfill gas management, operations planning, and construction quality assurance.
Provide technical direction and client?facing leadership to grow civil design and environmental services in the power market.
Assist clients with strategies for closing coal yards, ash ponds, and landfills; serve as account manager for key clients.
Work with CCR/MSW team to provide strategic business direction, support existing client relationships, and capture CCR/Fly Ash/MSW projects.
Serve as senior CCR/MSW consultant for current and future projects, setting strategic direction for project execution.
Develop, present, and execute winning client strategies for new and follow?on contract bids, adding input to overall technical, management, and business plans.
Mentor and coach team members, review pre?sales activities, and support proposal development and post?submission activities.
Support overall long?term strategy, growth, and pipeline development of civil engineering work for WSP in the assigned area.
Manage and direct project design teams; serve as Engineer of Record, Project Manager, or Project Director.
Ensure profitable performance of individual projects and successful completion within the specified area.
Serve as lead liaison to external entities: federal, state, local agencies, clients, subcontractors, industry groups, and community entities.
Exercise responsible and ethical decision?making and adhere to WSPs Code of Conduct and related policies.
Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs; travel up to 10% of the time.

Qualifications
Minimum B.S. Civil Engineering; valid North Carolina PE registration.
12+ years experience in civil engineering design, including significant experience with CCR ponds and landfills.
Knowledge of the power market and clientele.
Good knowledge of in?situ stabilization techniques and civil construction techniques associated with CCR or other waste material.
Proficient interpersonal and communication skills; express ideas effectively to scientific and non?scientific audiences.
Self?leadership, attention to detail, multi?tasking, and prioritization in a dynamic work environment.
Successful completion and pass WSPs Motor Vehicle screening.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet business objectives.
Proficiency with technical and business writing, office automation, communication software, technology, and tools.
Track record of upholding workplace safety and compliance with WSPs health, safety, drug/alcohol, and harassment policies.
Work schedules may extend beyond the typical workweek.
Proficient with Microsoft Office; advanced?level Excel.
Excellent verbal, strong writing, analytical, and organizational skills; positive attitude, detail oriented.
Willingness to perform a variety of assignments on short notice.
Provide expert witness and litigation support as needed.

Qualifications Required:

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $113,890 to $259,220.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
