
As an Auto Parts Expert, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service to both retail and installer clients. Your expertise will be essential in assisting store management with a variety of tasks. Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Promote and adhere to all customer service initiatives, including Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, Rock the Call, and related selling programs.
Welcome and assist retail customers promptly, ensuring a friendly and courteous experience while helping them select the right merchandise.
Support managers and installer service specialists in serving professional customers as needed.
Complete all necessary training relevant to your role and maintain an up-to-date knowledge of products and services.
Provide outstanding phone support to customers, accurately quoting prices, looking up parts, recommending premium options, and upholding the Low Price Guarantee.
Maintain the cash drawer with precision, including handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions while ensuring accuracy in change given.
Process exchanges and returns in a friendly manner, following company policies and procedures.
Address and resolve customer complaints swiftly to ensure satisfaction.
Assist with daily operations, including receiving freight, stocking shelves, and keeping the store clean and organized.
Prepare returns for shipment to the distribution center and help with monthly stock adjustments and inventory counts.
After proper training, operate brake lathe and other store equipment to provide in-store services such as installing wipers, testing batteries, and more, where permitted by law.
Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle to make customer deliveries, adhering to company driving eligibility requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned to contribute to the store's success.
Desired Qualifications:
Ability to match alphanumeric sequences quickly and efficiently.
Exceptional customer service skills, friendly demeanor, and professionalism.
Capable of multitasking, handling both phone and in-store customers simultaneously.
Familiarity with automotive parts, sales, and service is a plus.
ASE certification and fluency in multiple languages (especially Spanish) are highly desired.
