
Boardwalk Investments Group, LLC ("Boardwalk") is a privately held commercial real estate investment company. Headquartered in Costa Mesa, California, the Firm currently manages a commercial real estate portfolio comprised of retail, mixed‑use, office and multifamily assets located primarily in Orange County, California. The Lead Porter oversees daily porter operations to ensure all common areas and grounds are clean, safe, and well‑maintained. This role leads by example, supports the porter team, and coordinates with management to maintain property standards across assigned locations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Lead and support daily porter operations across assigned properties Maintain cleanliness of common areas, restrooms, and outdoor spaces Perform and oversee routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and sanitization Operate pressure washers and window washing equipment as needed Assist with preparation of vacant units Perform basic maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and air filters Conduct regular inspections and report maintenance, safety, or supply issues Assign daily tasks, provide direction, and support porter staff as needed Assist with training new porters and reinforcing cleaning and safety standards Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment and report inventory needs Respond to resident or management requests in a professional manner Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and handling of cleaning chemicals
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel between properties Prior janitorial or porter experience Previous leadership or lead experience preferred Ability to operate pressure washing and window washing equipment Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and supervise others when required Basic knowledge of safety procedures and cleaning equipment
SCHEDULE Standard Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:30am – 3:00pm
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach as required Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds Ability to perform repetitive tasks involving manual labor Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
