About the Role
As a
Commercial Insurance Account Manager
with this Detroit based independent agency you’ll be responsible for stepping into a team that is experiencing terrific growth. This is a high volume, high‑engagement role working with small and mid‑sized businesses in industries such as home health care, non‑profits, retail, contractors, property managers, and manufacturers.
Duties & Responsibilities
Serve as the primary client service point of contact to the insured handling a host of different issues that come up including changes in exposure, additions and cancellations of policies, billing and claims concerns, renewal preparation and marketing; creating RFPs, and communicating with the sales team on updates pre‑closing
Answer questions about coverage and pricing, create and execute the renewal cycle, coordinate all renewal marketing and create RFPs
Skills & Experience
Minimum three (3) years of property and casualty insurance experience in agency client service
Active state insurance license
