Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Real Estate & Hospitality . This is a rare opportunity to play a central role in the ongoing transformation of Hawaii—balancing long‑term stewardship with dynamic business execution. The ideal candidate has strong ties to Hawaii but has built a career on the Mainland in complex, fast‑moving, or growth‑oriented businesses (such as startups, multi‑entity operations, or real estate/hospitality ventures). Lead all
financial strategy, planning, and operations
across a diverse portfolio of businesses, including hospitality, development, regulated utilities, transportation, and conservation. Partner closely with the President and executive leadership to guide strategic decisions and capital deployment aligned with the organization’s mission. Oversee accounting, reporting, FP&A, treasury, and risk management for over two dozen operating entities. Serve as the
owner’s financial representative
for 3rd party managed resorts ; reviewing financial and operational performance and ensuring compliance with management agreements. Drive cross‑functional collaboration to support development and construction, government affairs, and sustainability initiatives. Lead and mentor a finance organization of 15. Oversee filings with the
Hawaii Public Utilities Commission
and other state and local agencies. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration;
MBA or advanced degree preferred . 12+ years
of progressive financial leadership experience, with
5+ years
at a senior executive or VP level. CPA required. Demonstrated success leading finance in complex, multi‑entity or multi‑industry environments. Proven ability to lead strategically while maintaining operational discipline. Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Genuine alignment with the company’s
