Position Overview The Military to Civilian Advocate serves as a liaison between military installations, workforce programs, community partners, training providers, and employers. You will manage a caseload of participants, provide individualized career planning, and connect customers to employment, education, and training opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive intake and career assessments for TSMs, RSVs, and military spouses
Develop individualized employment and training plans
Determine eligibility for Military to Civilian Grant funds and workforce programs
Prepare Individual Training Accounts (ITAs) and supportive service requests
Partner with Business Solutions to match candidates with job opportunities
Coordinate training, certification, and licensure pathways
Represent the agency at base events, spouse clubs, and community outreach initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of military culture and transition challenges
Experience in workforce development, counseling, HR, social work, or case management
Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to work with diverse populations and manage sensitive situations
Veteran, transitioning service member, or military spouse strongly preferred
Must have and maintain access to Dyess AFB (CAC or military ID required)
Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
Valid driver’s license with good driving record
Education High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree or related workforce experience strongly preferred.
Pay Rate:
$25/hour
Temporary Assignment
(not an official C2 Global Professional Services employee at this time)
Potential opportunity to transition into a full-time C2 role
No benefits offered during temporary assignment
Background check and drug screening required prior to start
Flexible hours may be required, including evenings and weekends for outreach events. Some travel across a 19-county region may be necessary.
