
Summary
The Senior Specialist - Employee Relations acts as a key operational partner to store and warehouse leadership, dedicated to fostering a positive work environment and mitigating organizational risk. This role will manager, advise, and support complex employee relations matters, investigations, and policy interpretations. The Senior Specialist will ensure fair and consistent application of Lidl US policies and processes, serving as a partner supporting team members within stores.
What You’ll Do
Foster a positive work culture by managing team member inquiries and documenting concerns while escalating high-risk matter for collaboration with Employee Relations Partner and HR Director
Drive conflict management and resolution of disputes by conducting fact finding, preparing investigative documentation, and determining appropriate follow up actions and outcomes
Build collaborative working relationships with HR partners, store and warehouse leadership, and HQ departments to advise on and support employee experience initiatives
Coordinate Employee Relations projects and administrative processes, including the development of templates, reporting updates, and workflow maintenance
Analyze ER data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement, formulating summaries and strategic recommendations for the ERP and HR Director
Manage the implementation of training initiatives, engagement activities, and HR programs within the area of responsibility
Manage projects and timelines effectively, utilizing both independent discretion and working collaboratively to achieve departmental goals
Perform other duties as assigned
What You’ll Need Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Ability to gather, analyze, and synthesize information from multiple sources
Ability to support investigations by preparing documentation and escalating issues appropriately
Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
General knowledge of HRIS systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service mindset
Ability to handle confidential information professionally
Proficiency in Google Suite or related software
Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
Required Education, Certifications, Licenses, Related Experience
Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
2-4 years of experience in HR, or related field
In lieu of degree, 3+ years of related experience will meet the education and experience requirements
U.S. Driver's License

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time
Travel Requirements
This position commutes between stores, regional offices, and /or warehouses more than 50% of the time
