Technical Sales Representative (Hybrid Inside/Outside)

Territory: New England (MA, CT, RI, NH, VT, ME)
Reports to: Vice President
The Mission Calzone Case Company requires a high-mobility closer to dominate the New England territory. You will balance high-volume inside lead management with strategic face-to-face consultations. Your objective is to embed Calzone Case into the supply chains of across the Northeast.
The Standard This is not a "work from home" role. This is a "work from where the customer is" role. You are expected to be in the field 2 days per week, conducting site visits, performing equipment audits, and building long-term relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Own the New England region. Identify high-value targets in the industries we service.
Travel to client facilities to inspect equipment, take precision measurements, and present custom protection solutions on-site.
Manage the full sales cycle—from cold outreach and inbound lead qualification to in-person presentations and final contract execution.
Attend regional trade shows and industry events to position Calzone Case as the premier solution for mission-critical transport.
Deliver weekly territory reports detailing pipeline growth, site visit outcomes, and competitor activity.
Requirements
3+ years in industrial or technical sales. Proven track record of managing a multi-state territory.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle. Ability to travel 40-60% of the time within New England.
Ability to use measuring tools and interpret technical drawings. You must understand the "why" behind foam densities and case specs.
You will operate with minimal supervision. You must be a self-starter who views a calendar full of meetings as the only acceptable baseline.
Professional, commanding, and capable of speaking the language of engineers & procurement officers.
