Pricing Analyst
role - (100% Remote). As a Pricing Analyst you will prepare detailed pricing proposals in response to requests for proposals (RFPs), participate on proposal teams for new business opportunities and re‑competes, and assume the responsibility for preparing competitive and fully compliant cost/price proposals. This process includes the development of pricing related briefs, cost/price models, cost/price narratives, acquiring cost/pricing approvals, and maintaining pricing related documentation.
In This Role You Will
Review proposal team input to ensure compliance with government regulations, including TINA and certified cost or pricing data, internal company policies, the Cost Estimating System Manual (CESM), FAR, CAS, and solicitation requirements and address deviations.
Assess input and documents from proposal team members and advise for sufficiency.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including Contracts, Subcontracts, Small Business Office, Program Business Support, Compliance, and HR on specific proposals and processes.
Maintain detailed pricing documentation files to serve as reference for future inquiries or audits.
Provide audit support to ensure understanding of financial data, methodology, and applicability under appropriate government regulations.
Advise on pre‑contract discussions and negotiations of contract awards, as appropriate.
Perform analysis and business case scenarios for specific proposals.
Work under general supervision, typically reporting to a manager or head of a unit or department.
To Be Successful In This Role You Will Have
United States Citizenship
A bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills
Must be detail‑oriented, able to manage and handle multiple projects (while exhibiting flexibility and teamwork), and meet deadlines
Strong skills in using Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to work on significant portions of a project with limited supervision
A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected
Or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
Additional Desired Experience And Skills
One or more years of federal pricing experience preferred
