
Personal Banker/Branch Service Rep (Floater)

Responsibilities
Responds to members' requests for information on various products and services, answers questions, conducts basic research on members' accounts and/or refers members to appropriate professional for solution.
Receives members at assigned teller station, determines nature of members' business, and processes accurate transactions, such as deposits, withdrawals, payments and transfers.
Processes Visa cash advances and loan payments, and updates member address information.
Open various credit union accounts, including IRAs, trusts, term certificates, shares and share draft accounts.
Interview loan applicants, advise members regarding consumer loan options, prepare documents and loan records, and make sound recommendations to loan officers.
Disclose and fund approved loans. In the event a loan is denied, explain reason for loan decision.
Determine members' financial needs and provide products and service information to meet those needs.
Qualifications
Minimum two years of financial institution experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication, customer service and sales skills.
Personal computer proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Excellent critical thinking skills.
Full-Time position and must be available to work Monday‑Saturday as schedule will vary based on the needs of the branches (Home‑West Covina, Claremont, Los Angeles).
