Role Overview The Senior Associate Sales Specialist, Emerging Technologies - Construction Ops independently identifies and drives sales opportunities for emerging solutions, collaborating with Account Executives (AEs) and Account Representatives (ARs), and providing in‑depth product‑specific expertise. This role requires proficiency in customization, strategic planning, advanced storytelling, and effective partner engagement and negotiation skills to drive sales revenue and manage renewals.

Key Responsibilities

Independently identify and drive Emerging Solutions sales opportunities, including new sales, upsell, and cross‑sell.

Collaborate with AEs and ARs in co‑selling motions to drive customer growth within existing accounts.

Provide in‑depth product‑specific expertise within assigned product solution groups (e.g., Fusion, Water, Construction).

Develop and implement selling strategies to grow new revenue and scale Emerging Solutions adoption.

Position Emerging Solutions as market‑leading, emphasizing Autodesk’s unique business value.

Develop and deliver accurate sales forecasts and reporting for Emerging Solutions.

Perform basic customization requests and resolve technical issues with minimal supervision.

Lead value and ROI discussions throughout the sales motion.

Negotiate directly with customers and support expansion in complex negotiations.

Bring in technical specialist resources as needed to advance opportunities.

Support AEs, ARs, and Account Technical Leads in developing and executing account sales plans.

Engage partners, bring them up to speed with Emerging products, and pass closed sales for renewal management.

Minimum Requirements

1–3 years of experience selling in a SaaS or Cloud technology selling environment.

Demonstrated ability to independently identify and drive sales opportunities.

Proven product expertise, including the ability to discuss features, use cases, and customizations.

Experience in strategic sales planning and execution.

Strong technical acumen and ability to perform basic product customizations.

Effective communication, storytelling, and persuasion skills.

Experience collaborating with sales teams and partners.

Negotiation skills, with experience supporting or leading customer negotiations.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Autodesk Emerging Solutions or comparable technology products.

Advanced skills in value discovery and ROI communication.

Experience supporting expansion sales and managing renewals.

Proven ability to position products competitively and understand pricing/packaging strategies.

Experience bringing technical specialists into sales cycles and supporting co‑selling motions.

Strong partner engagement and enablement skills.
