What You’ll Do As an Inside Claims Representative, you will manage moderate to complex multi-line insurance claims from start to finish. Your work will play a key role in helping policyholders through some of life’s most challenging moments, all while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key responsibilities include:
Investigate and evaluate coverage, liability, and damages for a wide range of claims
Conduct thorough documentation and maintain detailed claim files
Analyze legal liability and apply appropriate legal theories
Negotiate settlements with insureds, claimants, attorneys, and others
Coordinate with vendors and external partners for appraisals and reports
Manage subrogation activities and support recovery of loss dollars
Collaborate with team members and assist with training when needed
Support storm response and handle claims across levels as needed
What You Bring
A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience on a year-for-year basis)
Strong analytical, investigative, and negotiation skills
Excellent communication and writing abilities
Attention to detail with the ability to manage a high volume of work
Familiarity with claims software and a willingness to learn
Commitment to customer service and a calm, professional demeanor
Requirements to Succeed
At least 5 years of moderate to complex multi-line claims experience
Associate in Claims (AIC) designation (or 7 years of experience in lieu of AIC)
Physical ability to sit, stand, reach, and lift up to 30 lbs occasionally
A quiet, professional remote or office environment to support work productivity
