Strategic Sourcing, Leading Teams & Global Negotiation Leadership

Develop, own, and execute the comprehensive global sourcing strategy for a multi‑hundred‑million‑dollar spend portfolio encompassing, but not limited to, all media channels (traditional, digital, social, programmatic, etc.), marketing consumer insights, and other strategic spend categories.

Personally lead high‑stakes, multi‑faceted negotiations with global media agencies, data providers, technology platforms, and market research firms, moving beyond price to secure complex agreements that drive innovation, transparency, and long‑term value.

Establish and govern a rigorous supplier relationship management program, defining clear KPIs and performance scorecards to ensure strategic partners deliver continuous improvement and are held accountable for exceptional results.

Manage and lead teams.

Innovation, AI & Technology Integration

Serve as the procurement organization’s foremost thought leader on the future of critical investments, constantly evaluating emerging technologies, disruptive platforms, and innovative partners.

Design and implement the strategic roadmap for integrating Artificial Intelligence and advanced analytics into the spend lifecycle, including predictive spend analysis, intelligent sourcing, automated contract analysis, and enhanced supplier performance evaluation.

Champion the adoption and mastery of key procurement tools and digital platforms, ensuring the global team is data‑driven, digitally fluent, and empowered to make smarter, faster decisions.

Stakeholder Partnership & Cross‑Functional Influence

Cultivate deep, trust‑based relationships with senior leaders in Corporate teams such as Global Digital, Data & Analytics, Global Finance, Global Legal, and others, ensuring procurement strategies are integral to core business objectives.

Act as a strategic advisor to internal partners, providing expert counsel on market dynamics, supplier capabilities, and innovative commercial models.

Lead complex, cross‑functional teams to design and implement high‑impact, cross‑divisional value‑creation and cost‑saving initiatives, securing executive buy‑in and ensuring seamless execution across the global organization.

Financial Stewardship & Value Creation

Assume full ownership for delivering ambitious annual efficiency and effectiveness targets, including cost savings, cost exposure, and enhanced value.

Implement sophisticated financial modeling, including Total Cost of Ownership analyses, to ground sourcing decisions in rigorous data and long‑term value.

Provide clear, consistent reporting on procurement performance, savings pipeline, risk mitigation, and market intelligence to executive leadership.

Success in this role requires a unique blend of deep technical expertise and authentic, values‑driven leadership.

Required Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field.

Procurement Expertise:

10+ years of progressive strategic sourcing experience focused on business services spend segments, including at least 5 years in global media, consumer market insights, or business services categories within a major CPG or related industry.

Data, Analytics & Digital‑Media Fluency:

Expert‑level understanding of the modern media ecosystem, including programmatic advertising, influencer marketing, retail media networks, agencies, and performance metrics.

Negotiation Mastery:

Proven track record of leading complex, multi‑million‑dollar negotiations with sophisticated global suppliers, incorporating value‑based discussions and strategic relationship management.

Technological & Analytical Acumen:

Demonstrable experience leveraging procurement technologies and applying AI, machine learning, and predictive analytics to drive strategy and execution.

Financial and Commercial Acumen:

Strong financial literacy with the ability to build robust business cases, analyze complex pricing and compensation models, and negotiate intricate commercial contracts.

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced degree (MBA) or relevant professional certifications.

Experience managing remote or multicultural teams in a multi‑functional environment.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.

Compensation and Benefits Salary Range:

$185,000 – $200,000 USD. Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit‑sharing, and long‑term incentives for executive‑level roles.

Benefits:
