FanDuel is looking for a strategic powerhouse to own and evolve FanDuel’s acquisition engine – balancing data, creativity, and commercial acumen to fuel high-quality AMP growth and CAC efficiency. In this role, you’ll set the strategy for how we acquire new users, define high‑value audiences, unlock white space growth, and optimize every stage of the commercial funnel. You’ll be the go‑to leader connecting the dots across Marketing, Media, and Performance & Insights – ensuring our acquisition strategy is both smart and scalable.

Own Acquisition Strategy & Outcomes
Lead end‑to‑end acquisition strategy development, ensuring we hit customer growth targets while balancing efficiency, payback, and long‑term value
Act as central point of contact for all things acquisition, driving alignment, clarity, and performance across Media, Marketing, Business Intelligence, and Finance stakeholders
Partner closely with Business Intelligence to integrate acquisition forecasts, commercial inputs, and business drivers into strategy and execution
Directly manage and optimize our acquisition offer strategy across all regions
Lead a high performing team, nurturing and attracting talent
Lead Audience Strategy & Whitespace Growth
Develop and evolve a clear audience strategy, defining segments for acquisition using market data, research, and competitive intelligence and crafting briefs that inform creative, media, and offer execution
Identify and validate whitespace audience opportunities – helping FanDuel expand into new segments with tailored value propositions
Own the Conversion Funnel
Accountable for the full‑funnel acquisition experience, partnering closely with the Media team to identify and act on opportunities for funnel optimization
Define and evolve the new customer offer strategy across products, states, and moments in partnership with pricing, promotions, and product teams
Collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure new customer experience is aligned for maximum conversion
Drive Performance Management
Monitor CAC efficiency and active user growth metrics
Partner closely with Business Intelligence and Media teams to provide acquisition inputs into budgeting, top‑line forecasting, strategic investment pacing & tradeoffs, and the like
THE STATS What we're looking for in our next teammate.
Minimum of 10 years of work experience in customer acquisition, with experience creating and managing media campaigns from start to finish
At least 5 years in a management role with multiple tier direct reports
Experience in brand strategy for a high growth brand
Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience preferred
Deep experience developing and overseeing customer acquisition programs
Experience with Agile development framework and track record of partnering with product and engineering teams on multiple projects at once
Has a positive attitude and loves opportunities to collaborate with others
Knowledge of sports and/or experience working within a heavily regulated industry is a plus
Strong organizational skills and effective at project management

The applicable salary range for this position is $171,000 - $214,000 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short‑term or long‑term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
